This thread is a continuation of the ever popular Celebs on BA thread.

So which famous face did you encounter on BA today?

Sting in the Pisa Airport lounge with us ... looking very beardy with Trudy in tow. She's kinda stretched out. Working on his FT crossword.

Woody Harrelson in the CCR last week, out on the balcony enjoying a BA burger.

Wikipedia says he is a vegan. :confused:

Maybe a falafel burger? He's a vegan.

Maybe he's no longer vegan? Or maybe he thought he wouldn't be spotted enjoying some delicious meat out on the balcony!

Ahh he was with group, family I think, burger probably wasn't for him I didn't see him eating it, but then again I was trying not to be too nosey and stare.

I also nearly bumped into Lorraine Kelly on the escalators to the south lounges.

Well I don't know who Woody is, but at the end of the year, the previous year's celeb thread is closed, so nowhere else to put it.

You need to look at the thread time in its proper context.

It's not Celebs on BA IN 2016, but Celebs on BA, 2016 Thread...

I'm sure our esteemed Mods will correct me if I'm wrong, but there would be no reason to close the 2014, 2015 threads otherwise...

Surely not, otherwise the thread would be full of "I saw xxxx on BA in xxxx"

Let me take you through a potted history of the Celebs threads.

back in 2004, this thread was started:

It got to well over 100 pages, and became (like some other threads) unwieldy. So in 2013, the mods decided to start some master threads for each year and closed the old one -

You'll see a common trend: at the end of each year, 2013 being the first time this happened, the thread was closed, and a new one started.

So from that I get the context is Celebs on BA, 2016 master thread

Of course you will see some post 2015 sightings in the 2016 thread, as people sometimes go away over the new year and decide not to risk of SOWMBO by going through FT while they are away. The risk of this fades as they year passes. All a natural course of events. Are you suggesting there should be rules for what is essentially a light hearted threads? Why? :confused::confused::confused::confused:
