The facility to choose your main course meal before you fly (when travelling First, Club World and World Traveller Plus) is available on the following routes on flights departing from London:

London Heathrow to Accra, Amman, Atlanta, Austin, Bahrain, Baltimore, Bangalore, Bangkok, Beijing, Beirut, Boston, Buenos Aires, Cairo, Calgary, Cape Town, Chengdu, Chicago, Dallas, Delhi, Denver, Doha, Dubai, Durban, Hong Kong, Houston, Hyderabad, Jeddah, Johannesburg, Kuala Lumpur, Kuwait, Lagos, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Madras, Mexico, Miami, Montreal, Mumbai, Muscat, Nairobi, Narita, Nassau, New York (JFK and Newark), Philadelphia, Phoenix, Rio De Janeiro, Riyadh, San Diego, San Francisco, San Jose (California), Sao Paulo, Seattle, Seoul, Shanghai, Singapore, Tehran, Tel Aviv, Tokyo (Haneda and Narita), Toronto, Vancouver, and Washington DC.

London Gatwick to Antigua, Barbados, Bermuda, Cancun, Cape Town, Costa Rica, New York (JFK), Kingston, Lima, Male, Mauritius, Orlando, Punta Cana, Saint Lucia, San Jose (Costa Rica), Tampa, and Trinidad and Tobago


Meal selection will be from the on-board menu; pre-selection is available between 30 days and 24 hours before your flight

Meal selection is only for the main course of the main meal. However, you can click on the menu link to see the full main meal menu.

Starters and desserts cannot be pre-ordered. Items from the second meals cannot be viewed or pre-ordered.

  • Smoked British chicken and roast garlic terrine with piccalilli, quail egg and avocado purée
  • Fivemiletown goats cheese with beetroot tartare, pumpernickel and marinated beetroot

Salad

Main

  • Bibimbap and beef soup with radish
  • Chicken tikka masala and Jeera pilau with tadka dal
  • Beef kalbijjim with steamed rice and grilled peppers
  • Penne pasta with bocconcini, roasted Mediterranean vegetables and a basil and tomato sauce

Warm yogurt and curry marinated chicken supreme

I would love to hear from anyone that has had the warm yoghurt and curry marinated chicken supreme with miso aubergine, cucumber salad and sautéed Swiss chard and whether they'd recommend it. Or an alternative from the below?!

BA163 London to Tel Aviv 22:30 First

Starters

  • Loch Fyne smoked salmon with horseradish panna cotta and Keta caviar
  • Vegetarian spring rolls with sweet chilli sauce
  • Wild mushroom consomme with mushroom soufflé
  • Fresh seasonal salad with a choice of Caesar dressing or balsamic olive oil dressing

Main

  • Seared breast of chicken with celeriac mash, thyme jus and baby vegetables
  • Grilled seabass with baked sushi rice and edamame tomato salsa
  • Seared fillet of beef with herb jus, roasted potatoes, seasonal vegetables

  • Fresh seasonal salad feta, cherry tomatoes, olives served with Balsamic olive oil and creamy tarragon dressing

Main

  • Braised beef shortrib café de Paris gnocchi, broccolini
  • Seared swordfish lemon butter, Nicoise vegetables
  • Ricotta cappelaci sauteed mushrooms, sun-dried cherry tomatoes

Just moved a flight in early May by 2 days and got a brand new menu, seems a bit odd but oh well.

I like the look of the mains though. I'd happily eat all three. The starters don't inspire me. I'd like there to be a meat option.
