I too get the 'blog no longer exists' message. Hmmm. It sure would be great of BA did it though because I love NZ ^

No chance. With only 12 aircraft by next summer, that route would require 2/3 airframes. Cant see it happening but great rumour!

Certainly seems beyond improbable, especially considering the content on the cached site:

Hmmmm, the Scary Mail is noted as the 'source.'

If SYD can't get an A388, I highly doubt AKL will.

That seems to refer to the Mirror, not the Mail! ("The Daily Hate")

Surely the AKL service would have been a tag onto a new A388 SYD [or MEL?? ] service....

Of course, the whole thing sounds improbable.

So 77W to SYD and A380 to AKL? Not going to happen.

Kangaroo route is a tough one right now due to the strong competition from ME carriers... I would love to see A380 going to SYD first... or another service to MEL. As much as I would love to see BA in AKL, don't think it's going to happen any time soon.
