ex-UK sale fares seem to have been loaded overnight, although on the routes that I've checked (ie my usual ones) the new fares are in F and J only.

This may be a consequence of there being earlier sale fares that were filed to match the VS sale (see earlier in this thread), and which are still valid. However, I haven't looked to see how that correlates to whatever is available on routes on which VS doesn't compete.

Book by 2nd February 2016.
FT TP running aside, the HNL deal is especially good. Y fares in July are over £1500 in July and with two long flights, the flat bed makes a massive difference. If you could get NYC direct in Y for a little over £400, I understand that a lot of people wouldn’t bother as especially on a day flight it’s not too bad.

First look seems very promising ex-DUB. I had priced a trip earlier at around £2,600 each, now £1,666. Visiting old friends, so a week in PHX and a week in ANC.

Game on, once I've gone and bought [hopefully] a new fridge-freezer

All the sale fares are now apparently loaded in Y, W, J & F, including some tweaks to those that were tactical matches. Book by 2nd February 2016.

Merry Christmas Uncle T.

Last time I quoted a message to you, was when you were having your boiler fixed as you had no heating. Now the opposite problem! Enjoy white goods shopping and safe travels!

Not bad either, I was getting just over £700 to DXB in W from GLA, which is very respectable. Can use my Avios to bring the price down to £600 but really not worth it.

Quick question - are the prices loaded in Euros - or Sterling and converted? I.e. if the £ strengthens against the Euro does the price go down?

Paid a little more (not much!!) to go DUB - LAX via LHR. Car included comes to just £2000 for two and I get to try the 77W with AA for the first time.

Oh, if anyone's on the second BA flight to LAX on Friday the 26th August, get out of 53A/B, that's my favourite seat!

Is this likely to be it then?

The Y fares I was looking at to Canada are unchanged from yesterday and obviously not included in the sale. Infact very little April onwards seems to be.

Unless you fly from Dublin of course, where they are half the price
