At a quick glance, no great first fares ex DUB but business under €1300 to NYC, BOS, WAS with dates into next July. Don't know if these are part of the sale or just advance purch fares.

Some decent first fares ex Belfast for anyone based in Ireland. LAS for £2200 in March or April. Not quite as cheap as ex INV but could save some people the flight to INV

I have reached Silver for this year so by next week when the year end's on the 8th Sept, I have Silver already for this coming year.

Thanks,

It seems like an exciting F sale...
Most likely until end October 2019. ^

Premium Fare Deal!

Just got LON-NBO in F for GBP 2700 on 29 Sept - 7 Oct. A steal compared to where they were just yesterday.

I think YVR was slightly cheaper too when I looked earlier.

Other stand out to me so far is PEK for a little over £2k in F, which can be routed via HKG both ways as well (assuming you have the visa for it).

It looks like there are even better deals available using BA Holidays.

I'm replying as you originally quoted me but just to add to what the others have said the answer is yes.

If you start collecting (the 600) tier points after the 9th September 2017 this will go towards your collection year from 8th Sept 2017-8th Sept 2018 which will the give you Silver until September 8th 2019 on renewal then.

However your card will expire at the end of the following month, October 2019.

The sale has already started as some fares are loaded.

However I would emphasise this strongly and for other readers too.

Low fares are not always just in the 'official' Sales so it pays to check regularly if you are on the look out. Sometimes BA will drop them and by a fair bit to sell seats they can't seem to shift so it is always worth looking.

2 quick examples I can think of:

F return LHR-SIN was reduced to £3k (exactly) recently

Last week: EDI-LHR-SFO was showing at £388. (yes three hundred and eighty eight) This 'sale' is showing as from £500

Sorry Fly by Wire, for the uneducated....could you explain exactly where you saw this fare...??

Did you use the BA website multi-city option or book each sector individually...?? or something else...??

Bit of "trickery" on LON-SIN - seems like the lowest fare is only valid 16th-20th Feb outbound - presumably to get to a 1799gbp "from" price, when most dates will be ~2kGBP

I bought some tickets yesterday and one of them has now gone down in price, as I am within the cooling off period I know I can cancel, however what's the best way to do it? When I phone BA can I ask them to re-price it or do I need to specifically cancel and rebook?

Have any of you done this?
