I’ve been looking at a 3 city trip to the US in September for a while and was coming out around £5k for 10 nights with J flights and hotels through BAH for two people sharing. Ran it through the booking engine again today
(NCL-LHR-ORD-SEA, SEA-PHL, PHL-DCA, IAD-LHR-NCL) and it’s down to £4.4K, felt it was a reasonable price so decided to book.
Seems like there is value in places

Booked an open jaw LGW-LAS / TPA-MIA-LHR for two including first three nights at Venetian for £3,006 today - very pleased with, flights alone were £3,100 and only had to pay deposit

For those booking BAH deals remember that generally BA have an extra discount weekend in these sales on BAH offering an extra £25/50/100 off depending on spend. However YMMV of course and even if it does roll around availability you see now you may not see then.

Anyone know when we might expect to see the next BA sale? I’m looking to head to NYC and finally use Avios to upgrade to F from CW - anyone know what a good price for LHR-JFK in Club is? I’m thinking £1000?

There was a mention on TLFL (I think) today saying that there would be no sale until BA know more about the plans for international travel, so I think yours is a waiting game right now I'm afraid.

Mostly you’re looking at the lowest price like it is now, £1,407 or £1,200+ in the sale (maybe!)
F is very competitive at the moment at £1800. Only £400 more, so I don’t know how that compares to upgrading using avios from J.
If you can find the dates at these lowest fare prices then I would go with it. There’s plenty of uncertainty to know what’s going to happen, sales or no sales!

If you see a fare that's a good price, lock it in with a deposit (so add a car of hotel for even one night) and grab the F avios availability whilst it's there. You can pay the low £3/400 and then always back out to an FTV if you see a far better price and rebook.

£1K is what the Black Friday prices have been in the 2-4-1 deals. I haven’t seen that as a single fare in the sales, unless you start as an ex-EU, there has been the odd fare at the price.

Wondering whether there's any chance of BA running an imminent sale?

Reply #3263 above suggests BA won't have any sales until they know more about International Travel guidance from the Govt. although the update from BoJo yesterday that updates will be provided on April 5th may mean that if the news is reasonably positive in terms of a road map - we could see something shortly afterwards.

Wonder if that will still have 'confidence' reboking options, in the instance of a cheaper fare appearing and cancellation/rebooking being possible.

I can't imagine a "sale" whether Rewards or Cash will be focusing on Mar 2022 so wouldn't rely on one! It'll be trying to get bums on seats in the next six months, a la the £999 and 50% redemption sales.... both of which I don't think hardly anyone actually saw the benefit of.. I'd rely on advanced six month + fares - they'll remain fairly sensibly priced in my opinion.
