Dear interns,

The list is my request for BA's super summer sale.
  • Next Thursday around 9-11ish in the morning.
  • Has to be J, because BA aren't keen on the super summer sale of F seats.
  • Preferred starting points are INV, AMS, DUB, BRU, CPH, PRG & HAM.
  • Acceptable starting points are anywhere ex-eu with the exception of IST/ATH/HEL.
  • Destinations I would like: SCL, LIM, EZE, SIN, KUL, BKK, SYD, HKG, HND, ICN, YYZ, YUL, YVR, SXM, UVF & BNA.
  • Same price as last year please:-:

Thank you interns

A sale for J & F started exactly a year ago today! As per continental blog.

Could this mean a sale starts this coming week!

Many thought it'd be along this week (yesterday to be precise). They are already matching some of the VS sale fares.

But yes, I'd be surprised if a sale doesn't surface within the next week!

I'm hoping we'll see another "save money using avios" promo soon!

Does anyone know if the promo is applicable for reverse open jaws? Specifically LHR-DUB // CDG-LHR

I used the 7500 avios for £75 off during the last promo on ET LHR-LIS / MAD-LHR, so yes usually they do work.

I think some sale fares are being loaded now. I've been watching flights from LHR-DXB in First, and they've just fallen from £3,115 to £2,172. If that is a sale price, it doesn't look like the most aggressive as Continental Club says that the most recent sale price was £1,760 in June and £1,980 in April (but £2,255 back in March).

I'm more hoping for a proper (sub £1k) ex-EU sale.

Yup happening - cheapest flights for LHR SIN in J showing £3,400 on cheapest flight finder but can now be booked for £1,967. Not the most exciting but hopefully more delights to come

Yep looks like it's a work in progress.

I fly to Tampa and now seeing J for some dates down to £1698, from circa £2500 previously. Should hopefully all be complete and ready to explore in the morning

Fares to BGI in F now loaded at usual sales prices and not changed in the six years I've been booking the parents backwards and forwards to the island, so they are happy.

Am I right in thinking there is usually a concurrent ex-DUB sale with this August ex-UK sale?

While not UK ... on BA's Norway website it mentions a flight sale for bookings made until 8 September.

GIG 16,000 NOK (c. £1,500)
SIN 19,000 NOK
HKG 22,000 NOK
JNB 22,000 NOK

Flights available until July 2017.

Yeah, but don't see anything yet, DUB-HNL still around £1500.
