If I am in 1K on a 772 (17F on this occasion) is there a single curtain between me and the light of the galley in front, or a set of two curtains with a toilet in-between?

Thanks!

IIRC, there is only one set of curtains on that aircraft.

You may of course add your own second set otherwise known as eye shades

That age old question of when 1A/K open up for non-Golds was something I thought had a definite answer - T-72. I remember snaffling 1A as a Silver a few years ago by being online at the right time. But I'm trying to move my wife into 1K (I'm in 1A) and it won't let me. We're just inside T-72.
(I know people say 4E/F are better as a couple, but she's never flown 1A/K on a 744 and it'd be nice to tick the box!)

Does the time they become available vary a bit? Any help would be much appreciated, if only to avoid me having to give her my seat ;-)

Have you checked EF to see that someone else hasn't already taken it?

Yes, it's still available both in BA's seating chart, and on EF.

Well I've found it to be available anywhere from 80hrs to 72hrs. If it's under 72 then maybe the current exit row seat issue is having side effects?

I'd try again in a few hours then phone BA in the mornin.

I thought it was 11am GMT 3 days before the flight that they became available to non golds.

I just called BA as I still can't move my wife into 1K. I was told 1A/K are now only available for non-Golds once check-in opens. Good to know! I'll check occasionally between now and OLCI opening up just in case there's some flex, and will report back.

Wow estate this is unusual. Did you try and call straight back and speak to someone else?!

Whatever the current position on 1AK, that's pretty much the correct time for this and all the similar seating issues.

Using the common "T-72" may sound cool, techie and in-the-know-jargony, but it's actually simply wrong.

Yep, the seat stayed unavailable right up until check-in. Sadly I missed it so my wife will be taking my seat on our flight this evening

My apologies if this is covered elsewhere (and I am sure it is) but I am flying back from Toronto on a 777 12 seats in F... the K side, does it really only have 2 seats? I have tried searching for images online but to no avail
