I think funny, so one must be patient. I definitely think funny after a tatl 787 cw to toronto, lost in path, found the ritz, found an indian on the third attempt, i have a bottle of bubbles waiting for me back at the hotel, so by tomorrow i will completely forget my post was pointless since the ads have been there since day one. Makes even more/less sense after a few kingfishers (or not), but each to their own (or not).

So if the moderators would not mind, can you please delete this utter twaddle i posted (the entire thread). Many thanks.

To be honest, I suspect there are now other airlines/groups to keep BA awake at night more than VS. Arguably, one of the most overlooked aviation stories is how wildly divergent the financial performance of BA and VS has been in recent years, when both airlines are exposed to the same market conditions.
I think since the Dirty Tricks mess BA have understood that no matter how irritating the Davids are you have to look up, not backwards.

VS has always played the Avis "we're the underdog" card very well in marketing. I've always wondered if there was no way BA couldn't have negotiated a short list of "cannot advertise" for T5 -- or maybe they have and VS isn't on it?
