BA211, LHR-MIA in F. Excellent meal!

Canapes

Fantastic starter with asparagus and poached egg.

Excellent beef, which was medium done, just like I wanted it.

After this massive cheese plate, no room for dessert.

Afternoon tea

I do like the switch to a bowl of nuts instead of a packet. Also nice to have a good scotch (Glenlivet) in CW

The salmon was pretty good though a bigger portion would have been appreciated

I don't know why I keep bothering with beef on BA or frankly any airline. As usual it was cooked to well done and tasted like a leather shoe. The sides were good at least as was the wine. Incidentally, I wish the crew would remove the salad plate when bringing the main.

Dessert was good as was the Port

Breakfast, however was really weak. What kind of roll for a bacon sandwich is that? And where's the HP Sauce?

BA 2039 LGW-MCO 1325-1755 777-200

Note: flight was delayed 3.5 hours but we still received lunch

Excellent appetizer though again I still wanted a little more fish

One of the better mains I've had, well done on this one BA. Though again I wish they would clear previous detritus off the tray

Ohh, Crunchies!

Mmm scones. Really good catering on this flight, especially compared to the way over.

BA 48 SEA-LHR 1925-1240 747-400

Normally a loyal widgethead (DL flyer), but wanted to share a GFML meal (dinner) I had in Y earlier this month... which I'm sure is too basic for y'all :P

Sides from top left to bottom right ... gluten free roll, gluten free brown sugar pear tart (excellent), mini water bottle, balsamic vinaigrette, margarine, side salad, regular gluten-filled bread roll (way to go, BA!), and main course

Main course was grilled chicken breast, baby carrots, broccoli, and tomato rice. It was a bit bland (thinking it's the same meal for low-fat/low-sodium). Regular meal included some sort of pudding and cheddar cheese spread, crackers, salad with Italian dressing with a choice of penne pasta in tomato sauce or chicken and rice (in creamy sauce)

Prearrival meal was a continental breakfast box with a fresh fruit cuplet w/ cantaloupe, honeydew, and red grapes with a 4 oz cup of plain yogurt. Regular meal was a cold croissant.

Nothing. At least they didn't charge extra for the air!

No they haven’t, the blades of the knife should always point to the left and the olive oil should be on the left and the butter on the right.

Whoops!

I just checked and they didn't get it quite right on the way back either (but they weren't first trained - none rostered for that flight for some reason).

The spiced sweetcorn soup is to die for. Very comforting and I particularly enjoyed the chilly kick

Agreed, I had it going to BOS last week and it was easily the best part of the meal.
