Earning miles QF metal, BA codeshares?

Earning miles QF metal, BA codeshares?
It may be late and I may be confused, but am I right by looking at this page, that a flight to Sydney on BA earns me 10565 miles, but if I flew Qantas I'd only earn 2641? (Lowest Y fare)
If I booked via BA.com on the BA codeshares with QF, ie BA flightnumber, QF metal, would I get the higher or lower amount of miles?

Amazing how just by booking on a BA codeshare for a Qantas flight I'll get nearly 16K extra miles!
