Strange "Upcoming Flight" info in my Exec Club page

As per my previous thread, we're off to Helsinki with Finnair.

So I have a Booking ref listed that has a BA flight number attached and a booking ref that has AY flight numbers attached.

AY0832 is the Finnair flight number under booking ref 1
BA6032 is the BA flight number under booking ref 2

Should I be concerned?

Each booking ref contains the same details...
120 tier points for the return trip but less miles under the booking ref that has AY flight numbers than the booking ref that has BA flight numbers.

No.

I have dozen of these in my list of bookings, bit annoying but normal.

We have seat assignments under one booking but not under the other?
If I log into finnair, I can assign seats to the other booking ref... but can't select the same seats.

So at what point would the system not think that there are two Mr and Mrs Pops?

It never would. This is perfectly standard for codeshare flights when both airlines use Amadeus - you'll see the same on IB and QF too at least. Nothing to worry about. Use the relevant PNR for the operating carrier: for a BA operated flight, use the PNR with the BA codes in MMB to select seats; for an AY operated flight, use the PNR with the AY codes on their site.

Edit: And you see fewer miles showing under the AY coded-booking because you earn fewer miles on AY flights - that's why it's always good to book these under the BA codes instead where you get a higher cabin bonus and (if Silver/Gold) the tier bonus too. The TPs are the same. No, you will not get both sets of earnings!
