(I don't really want to go BKK-DME-LHR on TG/BD)

Thanks

Does the search mean there is only a single seat left? I was after two

Does anyone know if TG are likely to release another if take the one mentioned above?

Sorry, my mistake. Below is the search results for 2 seats. Not very good news: the only available option for two seats in C is a connection through DME.

There are two direct flights BKK-LHR on TG and one available F seat on each.

Not quite, there are a few more options, including MS:

Nothing at all on LX I'm afraid. Unless you want to try to struggle through via BOM, which probably makes DME look good.

I am sure it is clarifed umpteen times before but still the friday night hangover forces me to ask again!

On redemptions, what is the rule regarding codeshares?
How/whose taxes are to be paid? (ITA shows the codeshare carrier taxes and not the op carriers).
If codeshare redemptions are allowed, I assume they are then obviously limited to *A and BD partner flights, right?

GRU>ARN

Hello there, can anyone help me with this?

1 seat, O/W, GRU>ARN, May 26th or 27th, C?

I saw some TP options on CO website, but all of them have two stops (and only for the 26th). Nothing on ANA either. Can I get a 1-stop only flight via LIS for these dates?

Also, anything on LX? The "new" mini cabin on the A340 might compensate the extra hassle in the immigration.

Regards,

M.

ANA is showing a reasonable option :
5/26 (WE) TP198 Sao Paulo(GRU) Lisbon 16:15 06:05+1 343 C available
5/27 (TH) TP510 Lisbon Stockholm ARN 09:10 14:30 320 only Y available

re LX, all the 340's are still the 'old' config, so very little chance you will get anything 'new' in May.

Believe me, I have looked (though some may say not hard enough), but can not find a clear answer to what is troubling me.

I know you may spend miles on QR (return only and not OW). But what about a flight that is BD coded but operated by QR? Is a OW redemption possible on such flight?
And in the same breath, what about a QR operated flight coded as UA, since QR are BD partners?

Mods: It might be a nice idea to have a sub-section in FAQs dealing exclusively with the earn/burn on codeshares?

The rules are actually quite clear - the metal of the operating carrier counts. For redemption purposes, the codeshare part is pretty much irrelevant.

A redemption on QR is a redemption on QR, whether on a BD, UA, or QR number.

I can't think of any examples where the the redemption isn't ticketed under the operating carrier's flight number.
