Thanks for your help, its much appreciated. I am new to ANA, FT and now this output so any help or direction on how to read the classes available on these legs would be great as I havent seen these before :(

Stick around, you'll get the hang of it soon ;)

O: First Class Award
I: Business Class Award
X: Economy Class Award

So Xn shows the number of economy seats available, with the exception of 9 which means 9 or more

I haven't seen this particular output format before either but this thread in the Star Alliance forum might help.
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/star-...g-classes.html

Award booking classes are:

O = First Class
I = Business Class
X = Economy Class

The number which follows the booking class letter is the number of seats available .

THanks for the key and link, makes much more sense now :)

This is great, thanks for your speedy help. Am I reading these right that F is available on both legs? Is there similar F availability on Tue 8th for the NRT - BKK and Sun 13th for BKK - CPH?

Appreciate all your help!

Can someone please do my monthly check for availability:

LAX-ZRX-MAN 5th Jan 10 for 2 in F on LX

Currently booked SFO-LHR on UA but a timechange gives new opportunities :)

Muchas gracias!

Nothing showing in F on LX41. It's offering up alternatives in F from JFK and ORD on the new A333 service

Thanks Tiger_lily - I tried to see if I could do a SFO-ORD or JFK but the timings are a bit of a pain. Currently I am booked on UA 930 direct to LHR which won't be as nice as LX but it is direct and I can be home from London in about 3hrs.

I might see if I can change my parents' booking though as they are currently LGA-BOS-ZRH-MAN due to availability when I booked in Feb. JFK-ZRH-MAN on the 330 would be nice for them, and no messing around in Boston.

Slightly OT for this thread but I didn't want to open a new one. If there is a better place for it Mods please feel free to move my post.

I'm checking ANA on my own so I'm good on that one but would need advise on routing. Basically it is a simple Zone 7 to Zone 7 one way in Biz but via SIN. I'm looking at BKK - SIN (stopover) - DPS

Is this routing permissable or will they come up with the most direct route argument trying to push me onto the once daily TG flight? *A schedule shows BKK-SIN-DPS as a valid routing.

I basically want to optimize my award and not just get BKK-SIN but have something like a 6 months stopover in SIN (where I live) and then go SIN-DPS for a Bali vacation in June. I realize that I will have to accept SIN-DPS in Y as SQ does not seem to release any C seats to BD or other *A partners but that's okay.

Return DPS-SIN would be done using a one way award in Y with Kris Flyer miles.

Alternatively I would go to CGK instead of DPS if I can't find seats and would hope that if DPS is okay then BKK - SIN (stopover) - CGK should be too? Any thoughts? Thanks.

ORD -> CDG and back

All, have been lurking / doing research on my own for some time now. Looking for suggestions, alternatives for a trip I am planning next year.

Trip Dates - 9/13/2010 - 9/29/2010 (give or take a day for flexibility)

Ideally looking to go from ORD to CDG and fly back from Spain (BCN or MAD). I have had difficulty finding any available seats from Spain back to the states.

Ideally would like to fly business. Using ANA, I found flights for flying into and departing from CDG on AC in business.

ORD -> CDG
8/13 (FR) AC520 Chicago(ORD) Montreal
15:45 18:47 E75
8/13 (FR) AC870 Montreal Paris(CDG)
19:50 08:30 +1 77W

CDG -> ORD
8/29 (SU) AC885 Paris(CDG) Montreal
11:30 13:15 763
8/29 (SU) AC521 Montreal Chicago(ORD)
17:35 18:52 E7

Another item I would will to make sure I am right on is the number of miles that will be used. For Zone 1 - 3 it indicates 45,000 (x1.5 for business). I am understanding this to mean I will need 33,750 miles from ORD -> CDG for business cabin. Is this right?

Thanks for any and all help in advance!

- Chris

There was a thread on here last week that mentioned something about 3 months being the longest for a stopover.
As the routing is showing as valid I cannot see the problem with it however your stopover would need to be reduced. Try asking for the flights individually and that may help but with a 6 month 'stopover' they are likely to count it as 2 redemptions

I know it's a long shot but due to flight times being changed by TK I'm trying to look at alternative routings.

Looking for 4 biz seats from MAN - BKK between 11/12 - 13/12, checked as many routings as I can think of using ANA but would appreciate any further insight, Swiss maybe?

Anyway really appreciate any help.:)

Sorry should mention already with TK on 12/12.

Nothing on Swiss I'm afraid. Nothing via the usual suspects either, so it may need to be a creative routing via the likes of DEL or BOM if you really need to change the flights.
