Availability from ISB to KUL

Apologies for my cluelessness, but would someone be able to advise me on availability for the following routing:

ISB - KUL, leaving July 8th.

KUL - ISB, leaving July 17th, stopover in BKK for two weeks.

Don't mind what class we travel in, and we are two adults and one child (and an infant, but as they travel for free it makes no difference, no?). Thanks in advance!

The Star Alliance Timetable says "Outbound Flights from Islamabad to Kuala Lumpur on 08 Jul 2012, No outbound results found.", and for the return on July 17th only offers a 2-stop via SIN and BKK taking 30 hours.

Looks like you won't be able to make a redemption on this route.

Really? Rats, that's annoying. I thought it would be reasonably straightforward, a 5hr hop to BKK and then a couple of hours from there.

Is it worth calling DC to see if I can find something through them, or is that just going to make things worse?

Its always worth researching your options using the Star Alliance online timetable to figure who flies where on which dates, then that should help direct you to asking for the flights best for you.

Heathrow-New York-Chicago and back

I'd be grateful for any help on this.

I'm looking to fly from London to New York on May 25 give or take a day either side. i'll then go on to Chicago from New York around the 30th and head back from Chicago around June 4th.

I have some flexibility with dates but not much and have a decent number of miles to redeem and would prefer to fly Business Class.

This is my first go at redeeming my BMI miles and it's surprisingly daunting.

Weclome to FT .

Youre dates are approaching peak season so premium seats are scarce, however......

1) There are economy seats on most LHR-EWR CO flights around your travel dates, so at least you have the option to travel on the flight of your cohice and save some UK APD too.

2) Closest direct C seat is on the 28th :
5/28 (MO) CO019 London(LHR) New York(EWR) 08:40 12:05 752

3) On the 25th itselfk, C available on :
5/25 (FR) TP353 London(LHR) Lisbon 08:15 10:55 320
5/25 (FR) TP103 Lisbon New York(EWR) 12:30 15:40 332

4) If you can get to Birmingham, day before, C available on :
5/24 (TH) CO027 Birmingham New York(EWR) 09:00 11:55 752

Then
5/30 (WE) CO1543 New York(EWR) Chicago(ORD) 16:00 17:40 738 in C

Coming back from ORD on the Jun 4, there's no C seats dirtect, but an F seat :
6/4 (MO) UA938 Chicago(ORD) London(LHR) 21:07 11:15 +1 763
which, if you have the miles, is nice for a treat.

Hi all,

I am having trouble to find 3 return seats in business class from anywhere in the east coast of the US/Canada (will be in YQB but checked ex-YUL/YOW/YYZ/YHZ preferably but also checked from ORD/JFK/EWR/PHL/BOS/IAD without any success so far...) to anywhere in Western Europe for April 19th (Final destination will be GVA but I am ok to fly economy within Europe...)
Any advices or input ? ICC cannot find anything from Canada.

Cheers,

Depends for how many pax, and if you accept an early departure and long layover in the big apple and brussels but...
I can see 1 C seat on June 10th on CO1612 TPA 0615 - EWR 0815
and 1 F seat for UA960 EWR 1819 - BRU 0745+1
and finally 1 C seat for SN2095 BRU 1640 - LHR 1700 (perhaps you should get a Eurostar ticket...?)
You should perhaps give a ring to the ICC to check if SQ25 is available on your dates between JFK-FRA (A380). then you should be able to find some availability between FRA and LHR/LGW.

Thanks for your help, I should have mentioned, I'm looking for two seats. I'll try the SQ25 option though and see what happens.

IIRC, the UA EWR-BRU flight had 2 F seats available. But not the TPA-EWR.
Good luck with the SQ25 option. 2 seats is feasable, 3 seats seems impossible !

Hello all. Help would be appreciated finding 2 x C or 2 x Y in either of the following:

YWG-???-LHR/LGW
MSP-???-LHR/LGW

on 17 18 or 19 September 2012.

I'm seeing YWG-YOW-LHR on 17/9, but only in Y. Any thoughts?

Cheers ^

It's not looking great. The best (!) I can see is 2x YWG-YUL (Y) then YUL-LHR (C) on 17th with AC -- but that involves 8 hours in YUL.

LH TATL availability may well increase in the weeks before your travel dates, as may availability on AC connecting flights.

Thanks. I also spotted those 2xYUL-LHR but despite a few HUACA this morning, I couldn't get an agent to offer me a connection from YWG.

Harumph. Not sure how long we can afford to wait. Maybe March.

Edit: I notice that for almost all the possible options departing from our region of the USA, AC forces routes through YYZ. YUL doesn't appear as a possible transit point. That early morning departure from YWG and long layover in YUL is possible, but we'll be driving up to Winnipeg from northern MN, so it's just too early sadly. There's no availability on the afternoon flight; just the morning and evening.

TLV-JNB, YQ?

Hi,
I found availability on aeroplan.com in J and Y on ET TLV-ADD-JNB 10/10-10/16. I'm assuming these are bookable for 30,000 and 45,000 miles (zone 5 to 6). Does anyone know approx how much the surcharges are? Or where I can check?

TIA
