No, I'm pretty sure there's no such service. There might be an airphone - I can't remember - which might offer some incredibly slow dial-up for extortionate rates, but it wouldn't be worth it. Overall airbourne internet hasn't, um, taken off. Run a search for Conexion (I think that's how it was spelt) - a Boeing service that was trialled by Lufthansa a couple of years ago and then quietly dropped...

You are reading it right - bmi's Premium Economy product really does feature seats similar to United International Business, with a separate cabin, for a similar price to the (inferior) competition. The only disadvantage is that BMI don't have a very large route network. But Manchester is a reasonable airport to transit through and there are Star Alliance connections to a number of cities.

I have managed 2/2 upgrades so far with the certs. But I have always planned my flights on Weds or such where the loads are less.

Is that since the new E+??? If so, is it better then UA business??????? Does the seat go back as much as UA's, so that you can at least sleep???
