No, but I asked for it. I wasn't paying the gas, so I Didn't care. They intially offered me a minivan and I had to pick of the two. It was either that, or wait (for who knows how long) for a car... there were quite a few people there and they were clearly treating their avis first customers with preference.

My reservation was for Weds 10/22 but plans changed & I needed to fly in on Tues 10/21 (the World Series started in TPA on Weds). Every company was out of cars for Tues so I called the Pres Club line & they switched my res. without issue... very nice! I asked to put a request for a convertible & the agent laughed! She said they're sold out and I only got a car b/c of my PC status. I said I understood and would still like to 'request' a conv, if they could accomodate me. When I got there, they had a white Sebring conv ready! The seats are filthy (just like last week's Edge from here, must be dirty folks renting here in FL). Howeve they gave me just what I requested... overall, very good!

Even worse, About 15 miles outside of the airport, I noticed the tank was 7/8 full. ...? Who do I call in that situation? My paperwork says 8/8.

You shouldn't get charged for the different, and will actually be credited the difference if you return the car with a full 8/8 tank.
