AWD Code to drop under age fee?

I know this has been asked before but I can't find an answer or correct code. Does anyone have a AWD Code to drop the underage fee? Is this even possible or does one have to pay that fee no matter what?

Trying to help a friend with a rental from MCO in Feb. He is 22 yrs old and Avis wants $27/day for the underage fee...this fee will be as much as the rental not to mention the insurance he will have to take at another $27/day.

Cost of 4 day car rental: $116 + taxs/surcharges= $158.00
Underage fee: $27 x 4 days= $108.00
Insurance (LDW) $27 x 4 days=$108.00

Does anyone know of another rental company that less/lower fees? Anyone have any tricks/codes to reduce either of these 2 extras? Please PM me! Thanks

Thanks! This code does drop the underage fee requirement however is doesn't discount the rate at all :(

Maybe I should have been a little more clear...Does anyone have a AWD# and/or coupon that will drop the underage fee requirement AND give a decent discount on a car? Maybe some combo of AWD# and coupon as the booking agents can only put 1 AWD# in per rental.

I know...looking for the best of both worlds but sometime miracles do happen:D

Good luck with that!
I think using a code to save over $100 is a pretty good deal ;)

You can probably find a coupon code for an upgrade, FF miles or free day but I've never seen one for $'s off.

Code K444404

I just made a reservation for a car rental in Croatia with this amazing code, saving me $350 over the other best rate I could find. I got an e-mail confirmation, showing "N/A" in the AWD code box and "CR" in the rate code box. Anyone had any experience with this lately?

Does anyone have a code that will give me $10 a day rentals for life, and make sure I get Sirius in every rental, and guarantee that I get a car with less than 5,000 miles?:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Mexico-Cozumel rental

If I use Costco the fine print says cont. US but Avis accepts the code and gives me a rate of $293 after taxes etc.. for a compact ($240 before) so will it be accepted in Cozumel if I print out the reservation? I need two cars for 7 of us and need a cheap rate. I also understand that all rentals in Mexico include liability in the rate by Mexico law so I will use my Amex for rental car ins. Any suggestions on Mexico car rentals?

Thank You all for this great site.

Just spoke to a friend of mine which works for Avis in Belgium, and he said that any AWD starting with the letter "K" is only valid when holding a card proving that you are a share holder with the company linked to the code.

So I asume it's useless for us lot over here

traveling to St Martin in June, tried about every code there was on this forum, nothing seems to bring the cost down. Anyone have a suggestion? Thanks

Hmm?!? There are K codes for airline frequent flyers, and Florida convention center, etc. All are public codes and don't require to be a "shareholder". Beside, I'm are shareholder of XYZ company, but I don't carry my broker's statement showing I own nnn shares.
