Seats can be found, but they are definitely few and far between

Thanks for the heads up! Looks like you need to buy >150,000 miles to get the 3x price of 1.1 cpm. Hmmm.....

101K+ will qualify for the 200% bonus. Purchasing 101K miles nets 303K miles for a cost of $3,333. If you purchase with a 5x airline earning card like Amex Plat or Citi Prestige, you'll earn 16,665 points that you could then transfer to Lifemiles, making this a 1.04c/mi acquisition cost. This puts RT biz class tickets to europe at $1,314 and first class at $1,814.

Assuming lifemiles doesn't go out of business, and/or severely restrict award availability, it's a pretty amazing deal.

Was coincidentally looking at availability from HND-JFK 2 days ago in Aug 2021 and there was plenty in NH F-class... now looking almost nothing left.
Seems these promo's go hand-in-hand with limiting the award availability a bit, although not completely

Lucky had a link on his page to get the 200% bonus, with any 1k or more mileage bonus. No need to buy 100k or whatever.

Looks like no SQ or TK awards available at the moment, no UA business... the options have been a bit gutted for the moment!

Watch it get worse. However, in the case of SQ it isn't a major loss since SQ doesn't release any long-haul F or J awards to partners.

Hoarding LM has never been a good idea. However, if you can find what you want then it's a great value. The only concern is with the reports of future TK flights being cancelled, but that's part of the game. Hopefully things will improve.

Don't think I've ever seen SQ there. Don't care for TK.

Lufthansa and friends seem available - so there are possible decent redemptions. It's just that as an American, I am not welcome anywhere I'd like to go now

Def. would not buy LM ahead, though. Only for a specific planned redemption.
