@WWE and other LM gurus, any hints of new (or old) and juicy open-jaw tricks you can share to kick-start 2016?
Seems the current line of cheap tricks involves very open-jaw type long hauls spanning >10 timezones.

*LOL*

nice try!

Nice idea but availabilities are so few and far between that nobody will disclose because it will have direct and negative result for the poster himself who loses that rare opportunity.Easier in the past when more was available. Like water in the middle of Sahara Desert.

55,000 miles to 25,000 reduction miles possible. 55 % reduction.

the best are kept hidden.
BUT, the quirky IATa zone enforcement (rather lack of enforcement) and disregard for MPM limits still leaves open some really sweet routes...

Such a pacK of ......S.

Awesome. So a clue deleted thanks to a moronic filter.

Am I the only one who has absolutely no clue what you're trying to tell us?

You feel left out somehow ? Keep going like this - and it will stay that way.

What an awesome response. Didn't make you look like a turd even a little.

Think the Aussies have you all beat now, little children. That may be what comes from sounding like a complete condescending idiot and treating people like carp.

Guvner067 Jan 19, 2016 8:12 pm

Anyway, back on topic.... seems some updates over the weekend have opened up some previously blocked (or hard to find) routes on SQ.

Artemio Jan 19, 2016 10:15 pm

Mixed cabin classes seem available now  :D

Almost nothing was bookable out of Australia in the past. The engine now allows for connecting flights (on TG for example) and there is plenty of SQ J availability, most of which was previously blocked.

Great, now watch all those whiners complaining about how useless LM is and how they never gonna buy miles again flock back like locusts

If they allow mixed-class awards then it isn't useless anymore. It would be how useless LM "was", but no longer "is".

Rebooted v3.0 :D

Unfortunately still no joy on many SAA routes. Ironically, its the more premium EU-JNB routes that seem to come up and only when they have more than 1 seat available.

Of course LM insists that SAA only makes some seats available to them.

yerffej201 Jan 20, 2016 2:17 pm

All the things :) :) :D

Please don't book them :) (smile to note I'm asking gently). And tbh that goes for anyone else, since we do have a publicly confirmed case of denied boarding.

Chainsaw is also on the up and up still, that hasn't changed either. Just getting the obvious ones out of the way so people don't waste their time.

demue Jan 20, 2016 11:38 pm

Definitely can see Mixed Cabins which will be a interesting option. However, seems LM will be pricing based on highest cabin even if only one segment of the trip is in that cabin.

For example, say you are offered a routing like SFO-LAX(UA F)-NRT(NH Y)-SIN(NH Y) you will be charged for a OW F class redemption for 99K mls because SFO-LAX is in (domestic) First. What a joke :D.

One better be aware and check all the details before booking. I can already see people not catching this though in all fairness a message does pop-up before proceeding.

Any luck with the famous fruit? Havent bothered searching that in a while.

silly people then.. all programs that allow mixed cabins price at the highest cabin, unless we're talking additive pricing i.e. BA

Famous fruit works in Y.
In C it's one of the beautiful examples where the wrong leg is determining the price ;)
