The fee is USD15 per 100 unless you are in a country which attracts additional taxes (most of us are not) - USD17.70 is the maximum you will pay in one of those unfortunate countries.

Can you transfer back and forth?
1. Transfer 25k miles to my wife
2. She gets 50k miles
3. She transfers 50k miles back
4. I get 100k
Total cost:
75k * 0,015 = 1125 USD for 100k miles
Did I calculate this correctly? Because this sounds like a very good deal

You only gain 75k miles; don't forget you started with a transfer of 25k to your wife.

It's simply buying miles for 0.015, like any other promotion or buying them at the time of redemption at the sweetspot. No need to make it more difficult than it is.
You just need some miles to start with for this one.

For those who have used lifemiles frequently, is it still worth it when I have to transfer SPG points (20k spg points) to start with 25k Life miles and then start the bonus transfer process? I also have no immediate plans (3-6 months) to use them so it would be speculative.
Thanks
