Ah! So annoying. i just bought 150k miles yesterday.

They havent posted yet. Anyone know why? they normally post instantly. I guess i can only hope that there is some fault and they havent actually been purchased, and then i can take advantage of the promo

Looks like this worked in my favour... the transaction had failed yesterday. So i just bought 75k miles (+100%) bonus and saved myself alot of money!

Noticed that post, but clearly deserved its own thread.

Buyer be aware- seems cpm is raised from 3 to 3.5 pre discount.

spoke too soon.... the credit card company just informed me that the money has been debited from my account yesterday (even though the miles never appeared in my account). Now im trying to chase the call centre to refund the money as the original batch of 150k miles still hasnt appeared :td:

First time buyer... does VAT get applied for US or Canadian purchases (can go either way)?

Cost is still 1.5 cents per mile after bonus
 

Terms and conditions say 3.5 cents per mile pre-discount
But when you go choose the miles to buy, the cost showsn pre-discount is 3 cents, same as before.
So this time at least, they are still charging 3 cents a mile, may be they are getting ready to put the price up to 3.5 cents per mile for the next round.
Incidentally, did not charge the $30 transaction cost too.

Do Avianca/Taca Lifemiles oldtimers know when how many times in a year they run this promotion and when the next one might be?

Did I messed up? Just became a member today, brought 30K, it posted immediately, but the bonus didn't post. Will it post later or am I out of luck? I wish it would stop me from buying if I am not eligible for the bonus.

Terms & Conditions say

" Applies only to members enrolled in the program prior to April 8th, 2013 ".

I guess if you signed up today, 8 April 2013, you do not qualify for the bonus
