Anyone have recent data points?

No, but I'm just curious what routing you went with? After two cancellations, we decided just to fly into Jakarta.

I am flying SIN-DPS in a week and only plan on having the app downloaded but nothing uploaded. I didn't even put in my real passport number. Based on numerous pieces of info from tripadvisor, the most that is checked is if you have the app downloaded, if even that. I also plan on using Bali Fast track when I arrive...I am arriving right in the middle of a bunch of flights, so hoping it helps. I looked at 3 different places to book fast track and only one of them would go through (well, technically I still need to pay via paypal). The other two that said they would take credit card never worked, always declining. It's really annoying that Chase and Citi don't have the OTP verification that is required by some of these online sites...makes it hard to book some things online.

Quick datapoint. Arrived DPS at 6:45pm on a Monday and got through the unorganized mess that is immigration and customs in 34 minutes. We did hurry off the 787 and tried to quick walk to beat the rest of the rush. By the time we got to the front of the immigration officer line, the queue was 2x as long as when we started. They didn’t check the app at all.

Check which other arrivals are landing at the same time. I did that with mine and
noticed all the other flights were domestic arrivals +/- 30 minutes. If there’s earlier arrivals then it is probably worth it.

In the grand scheme of the overall cost of a trip to Bali, the additional adder for Fast Track seems like an almost infinitesimally small insurance policy...

If I were in your shoes and knowing the information available, I would also try it in that scenario.
