I don’t think it’s required, but you still can if you want. My concern is I might be denied entry (or forced into quarantine) for only having one dose of the J&J vaccine. I’d like to have verification from someone who has firsthand knowledge.

Easy fix. Go get another vaccination. You still have time.

I read that they won’t let you in if you’re not fully vaccinated. If you show up unvaccinated they will vaccinate you.

The welcometobali.com site says 1 dose J&J is acceptable but if you're eligible for a booster, the clear solution is just to go a second shot.

Question: I am likely to be around a heavy amount of marijuana smoking in the week before I depart for Jakarta.

As long as my clothes are cleaned beforehand, is there much risk of getting into trouble?

Can the Indonesian authorities demand blood tests, like in some of the emirates?

No, as long as you don’t smell of it. Indonesia is pretty low tech.

One dose of J&J is definitely allowed, and I had no issues when entering:

All inbound travelers 6 years and older must be fully vaccinated (complete dose of COVID-19 vaccines, with or without booster) against COVID-19, at least 14 days prior to travel. Indonesian authorities may quarantine and vaccinate unvaccinated inbound travelers. The Indonesian Government recognizes the following vaccinations: two-doses Pfizer, Moderna, Sinovac, AstraZeneca, or Sinopharm and single-dose of Johnson & Johnson.

I did want to also report back as I just returned from a few weeks in Indonesia. Arrival at CGK was uneventful and relaxed. Handed my US CDC vax card to the desk, I don't think they even looked at my wife's card, stamped our boarding pass and we were not asked again.

We flew CGK-YIA and SOC-DPS domestically.

At CGK (Garuda), check in looked a vax card for a second and handed back, no need to have the app for domestic travel

At SOC (Air Asia), not asked for vax card at check in and no issue entering terminal without app approval.

I was a little nervous going in not knowing if they would be strict, but we had zero issues and nothing was taken too seriously.

Hey folks. Going to to Jakarta in August and got a question about PeduliLindungi.

I know downloading the app is one of the entry requirements for Indonesia but I don't feel like using it after arrival since it is infamous for its privacy issues.

Anyone knows if it's alright to just show up to malls or restaurants with physical vaccination certificate instead of the app?

Get a cheap burner phone and use a local SIM for your peduli lindungi.

Was all over Indonesia for over 3 weeks, no one ever asked to see the app once.

So I just logged in to my PenduliLindungi app and it’s showing my status as ‘red’ - it’s saying I can’t travel to public places etc because I’m ‘not vaccinated’.

But, I’m fully vaccinated, I just haven’t registered my inoculations through the app (couldn’t figure out how to??)

will this be a problem? Like technically don’t I only need to have registered for a profile on the app and show my vaccination certificates?

Due to travel in 48 hours!

It happens most of the times, just take printed proof of your vaccines and you'll be fine.

We are in Bali now. We started in Jakarta, then Yogyakarta and now Bali. We downloaded the app, uploaded our vaccinations and were approved. Since we have been here no one has asked for anything. We just had to show our vaccine card at CGK when we arrived that’s it.

Thanks for the replies. So I have created a profile on the app, but have NOT uploaded my vaccination proof through the app!
