Sunday Lunch in BA
I love La Bourgogne at Alvear Palace Hotel, closed on Sunday.
Please recommend me gourmet restaurant for the lunch on Sunday.
I had eaten both of Nectarine and Tomo I, The taste was so-so.
Thanks in advance

Yes, prices have gone up considerably - but its not only at La Bourgogne but rather across the board.
FWIW, I am not a fan of La Bourgogne... I consider it very poor value for money (together with Cabania Las Lilas its the most expensive restaurant in Buenos Aires), and subject to inconsistent levels of food & service.

Gaucho;
I agree about Cabana Las Lilas. I thought the meat was good but not worth double or triple than anywhere else.
La Bourgogne on the other hand is very french and very consistent. the sauces are amazing and an equal restaurant in San Francisco, CA would cost double and probably more crowded and noisier. The only thing they lack is foie gras. It is a favorite of mine.

If you are a fan of French Cuisine, I would suggest that you try (apart from Chila noted above), a very small and 100% local bistro... its a bit far from the city but in an upscale suburb of Buenos Aires...
L'Atelier
Av. del Libertador 3836
La Lucila - Partido de San Isidro
Provincia de Buenos Aires
Tel: 4005-5244
This place is a 35 minute taxi drive from Palermo or Recoleta... but IMO well worth it.
While its not luxurious and its cuisine is not as presumptuous as what you have on the Menu at LB, the quality is at the same level... in some cases it is superior, because its not so over the top and overcrowded with fancy spices - as I sometimes see at LB. Also, its prices are less than 50% of what you will be charged at LB.... and this is not a minor issue, because even if you are not budget sensitive I think a restaurant deserves extra credit for delivering a superior fine dining experience at a great price and not having to use extravagantly expensive ingredients.
At least for me, the real art is making the simple things taste extraordinary. Together with Pura Tierra, this place is in my book where the cutting edge of Argentine food is at this point.

1.Chila
We went to Chila at 1:30PM on Sunday.
Three other table in restaurant was occupancy .
We were guided to the seat on the canal side. The town level that extended to the canal and view for Puerto Madero and the interior was seen from the pane in big window.
The first plate ordered fresh oyster plate.
It was not able to be moved deeply fishy.
There was no depth in the taste but there was a source up to delicious though the second plate was a dish that the salmon burnt, too.
It was a taste average as for the risotto of the squid ink ate by the side order.
The special white wine not tasted was garnished, and more than ARS400 for 2 PAX incl. tip was paid.
2.La Bourgogne
I was at La Bourgogne in 2p.m. on weekday.
The table in a big hall was overcapacity by 90 percent or more.
All course dishes with the glass of wine was satisfying, and service was also
perfect.
However, the taste of the white wine(Chardonnay) was extent where an ordinary, faint smell was felt.
we paid ARS400++ for 2pax incl. Tip^.
