Argentina

It pains me to say it and I really do hope it is just me who has had a run of bad luck but I personally feel the quality of Argentine beef has fallen over recent times.
Whether cooked at home or bought from a parilla I have not found it to be as tender or as tasty as it used to be. My wife tends to agree with me, now that is unusual!!

Anyone feel the same way, or am I imagining it?

PS; Posted accidently before I could finish the thread title, which should have read "Argentina beef in decline?"

I can't say that I've noticed a decline in quality. I have noticed that I may not be as excited about eating local steaks as I was a few years ago - when they were new to me and all that. But I think it's more just they've become the "standard" rather than being something different from what I was used to back in the U.S.

You could have something there SaltShaker. Maybe a case of familiarity breeds contempt.
