Argentina
It pains me to say it and I really do hope it is just me who has had a run of bad luck but I personally feel the quality of Argentine beef has fallen over recent times.
Whether cooked at home or bought from a parilla I have not found it to be as tender or as tasty as it used to be. My wife tends to agree with me, now that is unusual!! ;) Anyone feel the same way, or am I imagining it? PS; Posted accidently before I could finish the thread title, which should have read "Argentina beef in decline?" |
I can't say that I've noticed a decline in quality. I have noticed that I may not be as excited about eating local steaks as I was a few years ago - when they were new to me and all that. But I think it's more just they've become the "standard" rather than being something different from what I was used to back in the U.S.
