No, not yet. Bought a "way underpriced" bottle of it, because the local wine store received a case from one of his importers, but it wasn't something he usually has - he hadn't even tried it yet, nor was it on display. We were speaking of South America wines and he mentioned this, so I bought a bottle.

If you like the bolder malbec style, I will guess that you will enjoy it. Its not a super complex wine with multiple layers of aromatics - but IMO it provides a good example of Malbec in this style.

I didn't love it. There were 3 of us and we all felt the same way - drinkable and ok. Not worth buying more, even at the pretty much half price.

Well for $6.99 less a case discount (I bought 6 and split it with another wine) it wasn't bad. Somewhat too fruit forward for me, but it will be a crowd pleaser. At $6.29/bottle, a deal.

$6 is more like what I thought it should cost.

there's more argentine wine in texas than there are cow patties. brotherin law took me to an upscale in dallas to get something his cousin makes, and they had about 100 choices. wine was distributed by a VA distributor.

Spec's is great, but they're only in the southern part of the state, based in Houston. Huge selection and great prices.

A couple years ago I moved to the DFW area and have been very disappointed in the wine stores compared to Austin, Houston, and even San Antonio.

Because of old and silly laws dating from Prohibition, wine retailing is really screwy here, with all kinds of senseless restrictions.
