EZE Lounges as of 2014
Some of this information could be found in different posts, but I decided to make one solid and informative thread for people travelling to Argentina through Ezeiza's International Airport (EZE).
Most of the information used here was taken from Sir Chandler's site. So copyright goes to him.
I added a (click) to each title to access Sir Chandler's site (and avolarporelmundo for the AA one) where the info and more pics can be found. Only problem is that they are in spanish. But you can still see some more pics.
Here are the Lounges:
1)
Aeropuertos Argentina 2000 [DEPARTURE] VIP Lounge (click)
This lounge is located before security. The reason for this, is that it has its own security and migrations.. and free shop. It's an exclusive Lounge for people who don't like being in crowded areas. It is located in Terminal A. If the flight departs from this terminal, people from the VIP Lounge will escort you to the plane, whenever you want to board!. Not many people use this, so it's never crowded.
How can I enter? Well, maybe this lounge will be the hardest to enter if you're non argentine. This is because many banks here provide free access coupons to clients. There's a membership from Aeropuertos Argentina 2000 that you can purchase for about $2500 (USD) (more info here). People flying Emirates First Class have access to this lounge.
Lounge has a good variety of snacks and things to eat (nothing big tho), beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), business centre room, normal toilets, free wifi, and the mentioned services (private security, migrations, plane escort and even 3 free days of EZE parking).
2)
Aerolineas Argentinas Salón Condor (SkyTeam) (click)
Aerolineas Argentinas Salon Condor is located in the "new" Terminal C. The lounge is OK. I (personally) don't like it much, but I have to admit it has some good and handy things. It's pretty poor in terms of snacks and beverages (non alcoholic supply is good, or OK). It has showers and a kids area, which I find very handy for a lot of people who travel. Wifi sometimes works.
How can I enter? It's the Skyteam lounge, so anyone flying in premium cabins or with status and a Skyteam boarding pass will have access to it. People flying Emirates in Business class have access to this Lounge as well.
3)
LAN VIP Lounge (click)
This is the (or at least at the moment of writing this thread) OneWorld Lounge too. It's a very nice Lounge, pretty new. It is located in Terminal B. It's a very complete lounge. Snacks, food and beverages are better than the AR one. There are showers (confirm please?). It can get a bit crowded at times. WIFI works, or usually does. Newspapers and coffee machines.
How can I enter? OneWorld Premium Passengers have free access to it at the moment. Sapphire and Emerald categories from OW who have a boarding pass of an airline in this alliance. People travelling in either LAN or TAM can pay USD$35 upon check in, to get access to the lounge.
4)
StarAlliance VIP Lounge (click)
The StarAlliance lounge is fairly new as well. It is located in Terminal B, right next to the LAN VIP Lounge. It's well sized and there's a lot of tables and seats. Snacks and Beverages are good, similar to LAN's Lounge. It's well equipped and a pleasant place to wait for your departing plane. It has showers and charging stations. Free wifi as well. It can get a bit busy, but usually not full. It is probably one of the less restricted ones in terms of access. Since the Centurion Lounge has restricted access to some of their members, this lounge has been more crowded lately because of the Priority Pass access.
How can I enter? Obviously all premium passengers flying in a StarAlliance airline, and people with a high tier status in the alliance (and with a StarAlliance boarding pass). Priority Pass is accepted in this lounge. People with Diners International cards also have access to this lounge (confirmation needed).
5)
The American Express Centurion Lounge (click)
This lounge opened in January, replacing the old American Express Centurion Lounge. This new one looks more like the ones that opened in USA, not long ago (aesthetic wise). It is located in Terminal C, right in front of Aerolineas Argentina's one. The lounge is a lot bigger and has more space. Snacks, beverages and food is better. Although it can get a bit busy at times, its a great choice if you can find space. PS3 and kids room, TV's and a lot of sitting areas are a great option. It's open 24 hours a day (supposedly). WIFI works now too. Due to new entry policies from Amex, the lounge will be a lot less crowded, starting January 2015'.
The lounge has a VIP lounge inside, exclusive for Centurion Cardholders. This is a very exclusive room with á la carte dining, Veuve Cliquot champagne, JW Blue Label Whisky, etc. (More Pics):
How can I enter? International Amex Platinum and Centurion cardholders have access to this lounge.Argentine Gold and higher (note: Purchase card, not credit card) also have access.(Argentine?) Gold Business cards have free access as well. Any Amex cardholder can pay U$D50 to enter the regular lounge. Platinum and Centurion cardholders may bring 1 free guest. In addition, minors under 16 years old (cardholders children) can access for free. To access the exclusive Centurion VIP room inside the Lounge, you need a Centurion (Black) Titanium card (Centurion Platinum additional cards don't have access).
6)
American Airlines & Iberia co-owned Lounge (click)
This is the newest lounge in EZE. It's a co-owned lounge between American Airlines and Iberia. It is very good. Not huge, but comfortable. It offers an OK selection of beverages and food. Unlike most Admirals Club lounges, this one offers everything for free (once you're in). You don't get coupons/tickets for drinks like the ones in USA. It's a very nice option for people travelling in OW premium classes, or for people with high OW status and travelling in an airline of this alliance. It has wifi (password is supposed to be new every day, so you have to ask for it at the entrance), showers, food, beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), comfortable seats, tv's and departure/arrival information televisions. It is located right in front of LAN's lounge, in Terminal B.
How can I enter? As mentioned before, you must be travelling in American Airlines or Iberia's premium cabins (business and first). At the moment, people travelling premium classes in other OneWorld airlines (British Airways, Qatar, etc) can access this lounge or the LAN lounge. OW higher status members, travelling with an airline in this alliance get to enter too.
7)
Aeropuertos Argentina 2000 [ARRIVALS] VIP LOUNGE
[IMG] https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5120/...ccf7bc19_o.jpg
This is the only Arrivals Lounge in EZE. It's really nice. From the same owners of the departure Aeropuertos Argentina 2000 lounge, it also has VIP services. Before going through migrations you check-in in the lounge. They'll ask for your luggage coupons and ask you to enjoy the lounge. There's a variety of food, snacks, beverages, showers, TV, etc. After a few minutes there, they'll come and let you know your Luggage is ready. They escort you through migrations (no line required), and a man with your luggage ready will be waiting for you. They escort you through customs as well. It's pretty nice, sometimes migrations and customs are very busy in EZE.
How can I enter? Exactly the same requirements as the Departure Aeropuertos Argentina 2000 VIP Lounge.

Great idea for a thread tuchop. ^
The lounge situation at EZE has been changing a lot over the last couple of years with new ones opening and old ones closing so it's good to have a thread where people can find the latest news.
One of the pictures needs resizing as it's screwing up the page formatting.

The days of my lounge hopping between various states of pathetica is all over! EZE had one of the worst array of lounges at any major airport anywhere. Now, I actually like hanging out in Mundo Lan when I'm not there at a peak hour. I think the only 2 remaining lounges to open are AA and IB. I'm not sure where IB is going to end up.

UPDATE3:
-Added some pictures and info of the new American Airlines and Iberia Lounge.
-Added a (click) in every title, for people to visit a site that has more pictures and information (in spanish) about every single lounge. There are a lot more pics, including pictures of the beverages and food in the lounges.

I was there. It was a pleasant space. F&B choices are ample, and "improved" from the former AC, but really not up to par with what I would have expected. I like the LA offerings much more. The AC is trying various "hot" options which are relatively gross, like the gummy spit-out empanadas, and the not-really-warm quesadillas with not-really-melted queso and not-really-fresh tortillas. The wine offerings were third rate, too.
But then I went to the *A Lounge, which had worse offerings than the AC. I wonder if they "up the game" prior to the LH flight, but prior to the UA flight (I went to visit a friend who was leaving on UA about the same time), the selections are crap, including the wine.
So, I returned to the LAN paradise of quality wine.
I will never be important enough to visit the lounge that tuchop visited that serves the JWB.

Thanks for the great resource!
BTW, in the USA Admirals Clulbs one does not need to get chits or coupons for drinks; "lower shelf" drinks are free. Only premium drinks (or, for some reason, bottled water,) require chits, and these are offered to oneworld Emerald and Sapphire members flying on oneworld airlines.
