No (or at least, not yet). For now, it is only collected at the two airports in Buenos Aires - EZE and AEP

Thank you! Any suggestions you can offer on visiting the Mendoza region in May?

Various reports seem to confirm that this fee is payable only if you fly into EZE or AEP. All other points of entry are exempt at this point (4/11/11).

EZE/AEP

All, I have a group of 30 flying YYZ-JFK-SCL-CORdoba on Friday. They are then going to be flying COR-AEP, spending 4 days in BA and the EZE-SCL-JFK-YYZ.

We did the itinerary this way because we were all told that they only had to pay the fee at EZE. Then, they included AEP but said that it was only international arrivals at AEP.

the state department page says:
U.S. citizen tourist and business travelers arriving in Argentina at Ezeiza International Airport must pay an entry fee. Currently, the fee is only charged at Ezeiza and Jorge Newbery airports.
This doesn't make any sense, clearly.

I called the Argentine Embassy a month ago and was assured they do NOT have to pay the fee. Why is this so unclear?

HELP!

It is very clear. You are not arriving in Argentina @AEP, you are arriving @COR. You are traveling within Argentina @AEP.

It's clear that your group doesn't have to pay the fee, as noted above, since entry into Argentina is not at either of the two Buenos Aires airports but instead at Cordoba.

Are there any exit fees for Argentina?

And how about entry fees for Uruguay?

Was planning a trip for those two nations for November of this year. I found a great flight schedule for my dates flying into Buenos Aires and flying home from Montevideo... but then I read about this huge fee so I'm looking into other options to avoid paying it!

Yes, an international departure tax of US$29 is levied but is now included in the cost of the ticket so you don't have to pay it in cash at the airport

Where is entry fee actually paid?

To save time when arriving, I would like to go directly to the reciprocity fee collection area.
So where physically is the collection made?
Thanks

You can't miss it - people from countries that need to pay will have a special lane going to immigration.

BTW... for UK passport holders, even though its not a Schengen State, you do not have to pay the fee as the UK allows Visa free travel for Argentine Passport Holders.
