...on points.com ! Minimum 10K Priority Club points, then any exact amount above that. I just transferred 57K into 76K Amtrak, which can get me $750 in gift cards, such as Hyatt.
Also, this can be advantageous for Select members with priv.s to transfer from AGR to HHonors or Choice, which I don't have.

Hi Brendan,
Thanks for the tip.
Don't really care about transferring out of AGR, since I ride enough long distance sleepers to make this beneficial.
I am assuming there is no fee?
About how long did it take for the AGR points to show up in your account once you initiated the transfer?
You didn't mention any limit, so I hope there isn't one. I've got about 100,000 Priority Club points that I would gladly transfer over to AGR if I can.

This is actually a great deal for people who ride special routes or sleepers, as LA to the Bay Area is usually one special redemption of 1,500 points (via Surfliner or San Joaquin) and the sleepers generally are an extremely good value, especially with the last room allowance.

No, Ehud, but U can list only one account of each on a points.com membership. Also, once U list them, U can't list a different PC or AGR account on that points.com account nor list the same ones on another points.com account.

A few of my FT friends have suspected that this rate must be a mistake. I stayed neutral because it was an excellent rate but not outrageously juicy like the 1 AGR --> 6.375 CX of 2 weeks ago. But in response to Ehud #7, I just went to points.com & now see that 1000 PC now gets a pathetic 133 AGR vs. the juicy 1333 AGR of my OP!
BTW, they can't reverse mine, because I've already spent my AGR!

So for PC points valid for $500 in rooms, they've decided that $760 in GCs or ~$1520 of train travel is too generous, so they've cut it to $76/ $152?! That's points.com for U!

As soon as I got my Amtrak points, I tried to transfer onward into almost half a million CX Asia Miles, but that one pended for 5 days until I finally got a cancellation email. So I settled for $700 combined total in GCs for Hyatt, CVS pharmacy & Red Lobster restaurants, keeping 6K AGR for trains or whatever.

days and then promptly died this morning. Since I didn't learn about it until I read a blog, the lesson is to monitor random FT posts more often, even if it takes more time!
Congrats Brendan....
