Hotel: Delano
Room: King Suite
Checkin: Checked in at 11:30AM without any issues
Upgrade: Upgraded to Scenic View King Suite. It was on the corner and had views of both the stadium and the strip.
Late Checkout: Was offered 4pm checkout but checked out at 8am for flight
Breakfast Credit: $30 per person usable at either Della’s Kitchen which is a full sit down and dine restaurant (average meal price was around $28~) or their coffee shop which had similar stuff to a Starbucks. Della’s Kitchen was good but if you’re in a rush then the coffee place wasn’t bad, but I found it hard to use all $60 at the coffee place.
Credits:$100 at basically any MGM hotel restaurant on the strip. They gave us a huge list but we ended up just using it in the restaurant at the hotel. Credit didn’t automatically apply but a short 2 minute phone call on the last night got that fixed up.
Comment: No line to check in, front desk was great the whole trip. Very helpful with any issue we had. Explained all the benefits we were getting at check in. Stay was nice and without issue. Really impressed with the room for the price we paid. There was a $39 daily resort fee but then they took about $6 a day off that as a wifi credit even though WiFi was free to access. I’d stay here again, especially if I was planning to attend an event at Allegiant Stadium.

I believe I have a choice at Delano of Seabreeze, 3940, or Della's kitchen. Any recommendation which is best and if I should book a reservation?

3940 is just a grab-and-go counter for coffee, pastries, etc. Della's and Seabreeze are similar with the latter in the Mandalay casino so a bit farther away. IMO Della's is better, or at least it was pre-COVID, not sure how it's holding up. If they take reservations at breakfast hours it's not a bad idea to get one, especially on the weekend.

For breakfast, I assume?

Ah, they're both very similar with the only difference that I noticed was that at Seabreeze they had steak (ribeye) and eggs whereas it wasn't available at Delano. Or, you could do what I've done for 3940, and use the $60 on coffee, water and a couple of breakfast sandwiches and pastries.

PS - You won't need reservations.

At least for my stay in mid-Feb - Della's is closed during the week - only open on the weekend.

Didn't checkout seabreeze, but my visit to Della's kitchen in December was good. Great chicken and waffles. Service was a bit slow, and we made reservations, which was a good call as it was busy Saturday morning.

Will be staying at Wynn this 2/2-2/5 and booked Wynn Tower Suites. From experience, does Wynn typically upgrade from Tower to Parlor suites? Does the $20 trick work at Wynn? Any additional information at the property would be great since it will be my first time staying at Wynn.

3940 is more a coffee stand like Starbucks with no tables. Della's opens earlier than Seabreeze. Seabreeze used to have a much more extensive menu than Della's but all menu have been shortened. Della's is closed a couple days a week, Tues-Wed I think.

I'm not sure if Seabreeze is allowed under FHR so verify that at desk. Pre pandemic, I never needed reservations since I eat early but it can't hurt. I haven't stayed at Delano in a couple of years so others may have more current info.

Hotel: Wynn
Room: Wynn Resort Two Doubles
Checkin: Checked in at 2pm. Room was ready.
Upgrade: Upgraded to Panoramic Two Doubles (Golf Course and desert/mountain view)
Late Checkout: Late checkout at 1:30pm
Breakfast Credit: $60 at on-property restaurants
Credits: $100 Spa Credit. At check-in, I told the front desk we weren't comfortable using the spa due to Covid and whether we could use the credit for food and beverage. The agent called the manager, who promptly approved the request. The spa credit does not cover gratuities, and converting it to a F&B credit also did not cover the gratuities we left at dinner. If you spend $80 on food and leave a $15 tip, you still have to pay the $15 tip yourself.
$25 mini-bar or drink welcome credit, only valid for day of check-in.

Comments: Only one tiny pool was open, but otherwise a great stay. We ate breakfast at Jardin and dinner at Wazuzu, which were both great uses of the food credits we had. Booking through FHR gave a $5 credit to the resort fee that's normally $45.

When I was there 2 weeks ago they only mentioned Della’s Kitchen and 3940. Not sure if they just forgot to mention Seabreeze or if it’s not included with FHR. It also wasn’t on the paper they handed me.

Della’s Kitchen had good food though so no problems for me. And we didn’t need reservations at all. Saturday was the most busy at around 10AM but even then we still got a table immediately.

Yes, we have used this strategy multiple times at the Wynn/Encore and automatically ended up with the Parlor Suite (which is fantastic in every way). However, this was during earlier phases of the pandemic when Vegas wasn't fully back to life. The general thought is that this strategy won't always work as things get busier. Our next trip to the Wynn is in April, and we have a Tower King room booked. Please let us know how your visit goes!

In my experience, the breakfast credit is always applied automatically at 3940 and Della's, which is also the case for Seabreeze. As is always the case with Vegas, it's a highly individual YMMV thing, whenever the credit hasn't applied automatically, I've been able to request it manually during checkout. So, you could, say, while staying at the Delano, use the credit at Park MGM or Bellagio's breakfast buffet, and this should also qualify for the brekkie credit.

Thanks for the info. Did you book through FHR and also tipped for the upgrade? Do you think $20 tip is enough considering Wynn room rates are pretty high? I will definitely let you know about my experience next week.
