Do Starwood hotels sell giftcards?

Does SPG have a gift card program?

Starwood has ended its gift cards program. Existing gift cards, however, will continue to be honored at all of our hotels worldwide.

You can still activate a card, check balances, verify the expiration date, study the terms and conditions, read our FAQs or locate how to contact us by visiting the gift card website.

It seems unlikely that they sell Marriott giftcards:

The following Marriott Hotel Brands DO NOT accept Marriott or The Ritz-Carlton GiftCards: Protea Hotels by Marriott®, St. Regis®, The Luxury Collection®, W®, Westin®, Le Méridien®, Sheraton®, Tribute Portfolio™, Four Points® by Sheraton, Aloft®, Element®, Design Hotels™

Thank you! It wasn't there yesterday but I checked today because of your post and I have it- currently at Starwood hotel.

Interestingly, we have it on all 5 Amex cards, 3 of them being Hilton cards.

Likewise - thanks!

Hope this one is cumulative, not $300 in a single stay?

Damn, I accepted it on my SPG- didn't realize it was on my other 4 cards- could have gotten credits across all of them

If you want this offer on your other cards I suggest creating separate logins for each card. The offer may show up for them under the new login.

Good luck

Cumulative, according to Amex twitter support.

I've been denied the credit because, while I booked at marriott.com, I did not pay at marriott.com. AMEX (chat) quoted this line:

Reservations must be made online at marriott.com, by using the Marriott Mobile App or via phone to Marriott Worldwide Reservations,
Have others experienced this?

That's a shame. I need 5 more stays (getting 2x credit from a targeted offer) to get Platinum, so this offer on 7 cards will take quite a bit of the string out of mattress runs, especially since it's cumulative.

Why SPG chat? Was it a Marriott hotel? Did you pay at the hotel?

Thank you for catching that error. . . it was, of course, AMEX chat (corrected in my OP).

Yes, it was an FS Marriott, and I paid at the front-desk.

Has anyone had experience trying to use multiple cards for the SPG offer?

I have a Christmas stay for 6 nights for about $500/night. I have 2 Amex cards where I've added the offer and would love to charge a night on each of the cards (or even just $300 each), then use CSR for the remainder to get 3x. Thoughts?

I have found that the easiest way to accomplish this is at the front desk the evening before checking out. They can run each card for a specified amount before the final folio is run sometime overnight. It seems easier than having them refund and rerun different cards once the folio has been finalized.
