Regarding Whole Foods offer on the PRG -

Myself and my wife added this to our accounts. She used it last week to buy 2 VGCs and a sandwich or something. She immediately got the email saying that she had used her amex offer and a few days later her account shows 1018 pts for the Whole Foods MR Offer.
I've purchased some VGCs at WF in the past week also but I have not recieved any email. Now this would be my first MR earning card and I can see pending points and I'm aware that these wont post until the 2nd statement so I'm not sure if THATS why I didnt get the email OR was it due to me buying gift cards on their own and not including some general groceries like my wife did?

Question re Whole Foods offer. The terms exclude "mobile wallets". Does that extend to Apple Pay ?

Yes - the mobile wallet credit card number is different than the one for the physical card. You'd think, like with a B of A promo, that it's a matter of the matching merchant's transaction posting to the AMEX account with eligible offer, but no . . . the "charge" via the virtual number pre-empts that.

I thought I had whole foods bonus points come through and I have only been using Apple Pay there.

It would be great for Apple Pay to work especially if AU cards don't collect the Wf Bonus. This way you can add the same card to multiple devices

It looks like the mobile wallet is a standard disclaimer on Amex offers so we should be good to go.

Yes. All of my discounts that needed to post (about 5 of them) ended up posting on the same day about a week ago. Looks like they resolved whatever issue they were having and the discounts are going through automatically, and they also did a sweep to figure out which transactions were "missed" when the system was messed up.

FYI - last year had this on Biz/OPEN Platinum - again this year - was able to normally pay via att.com and get credits 3 times.

Just a follow up on my post on buying Whole Foods VGCs on the PRG. Purchasing a regular grocery item with the gift cards activated the "You have used your AMEX Offer" email immediately. So it appears that you do need to buy something in addition to the gift cards to get the +1MR.

May I ask why? I hope it's for the min spend, and not the 2X at a grocery store.

Fair enough - I chimed in as using Samsung Pay I didn't get Small Business purchase credit earlier.

It's 3x isn't it? 2x MR as standard for supermarkets, then an additional bonus point per dollar of spend for the duration of the promo.
