Starwood Preferred Guest American Express Card (Canada)




This is a great card for everyday spend- offering a flat 1 SPG point per dollar, the high value of these points mean a return of anywhere from 0.015 to 0.04 cents per dollar depending on where and when you redeem. With over 1800 hotels worldwide, there is alot to choose from.

- These points are also transferrable to Aeroplan (1:1) and other airline partners with a 5,000 point bonus for every 20,000 transferred- meaning the SPG program might possibly offer a better return on aeroplan/other frequent flier programs than the American Express MR program.
