Major App Interface Change

I just opened my AA app to look at some reservations and I'm seeing the interference looks totally different. Instead of the old card style, the look is completely diffrent...

Assuming iOS? Android looks the same as it did previously.

Yes, it pushed through earlier in the week. I like having the ability to copy the PNRs. I havent seen any functional differences.

Noticed it several days ago also. Only thing that stood out was display of FFN on each tab. Kind of preferred the quick drop-down to see the inbound flight info rather than the pop-up screen that now happens, but not a big deal either way.

I noticed that change as well.

Overall it's a more modern looking interface. Wish (among other things) AA would adopt UA app's ability to track your inbound plane back to infinity.

Is anyone able to access the Promotions section of the app since the most recent update? I haven't been able to get past this error message the last 3 days in the Android app:

I have been receiving that error message on my Samsung Galaxy S on and off for about a month now.

Same. Clear app data and cache and it works for 2 or 3 days before getting the error again, rinse and repeat.

Same as the rest of you, though the activity section has been better since that UI refresh was pushed out, so I assume the promotions and rewards tab issues are tied to the upgrade (and their refreshes not being deployed yet).

Instead of clearing data, if you log out, shut down the app, then log in again, you should be good. Avoids the issue of having your notification preferences cleared when you delete cache/data.

My Android just updated with the new UI.
Now where can I find the waitlist for upgrades and standby information....

New UI isnt too bad, a little clunky yesterday when traveling, but I think it is a getting used to it thing.

I like how the boarding passes show up now, that seems to be an improvement!

AJNEDC - you have to go into the specific flight/leg info for the wait list info, assuming its close enough in to the actual flight. There was a button near the left side of screen for wait list.

under “flight details” there’s a section for aircraft type, but it doesn’t actually contain any info
