I am not sure if it was supposed to be allowed or not, but when I turned 21 in the mid 90's, a group of about 12 of us flew on Southwest to Vegas. We brought cheap whiskey in our carryon and mixed it with coke served from the flight attendant. She knew what we were doing and kept coming back frequently to make sure we had enough coke.

I think you should go for it and, relying on an extraordinary crew, they - and yourself in turn - will have a most memorable time to recreate the moment.
If they are discreet about it, and you as well, it should all work out. Its all about communication and karma.
Bring yourself a very nice dessert cake as well. Enjoy your Historic Premium First Class flight!

Ps And I know what I am talking about... when United got rid of their Intl First Class......I did the same

I believe that is standard language from an FAA regulation about alcohol that youll hear on all U.S. carriers, rather than a promise of what any particular airline is willing to do. I agree that it is confusing though.

Also by a discounted flight attendant uniform costume (now that Halloween is over) and bring a companion wearing said outfit to serve you the caviar if the actual crew isn’t going to do it.

I was thinking about that with the champers but I dont think my wife would stay married to me if it bought that much caviar.

Goes back to the days when a pax could bring his/her EtOh (chemical code for alcohol) product on to his/her seat: But It was when the pax got drunk, FA's were uninvolved as to why it happened (since they hadn't served it), and things got out of hand. I get that. So the remedy is what we have: No EtOh, as we have it with all the carriers today, unless served by the airline---and most of them are doing their own thing as to how much they will serve (I have been refused an extra Bacardi 30 ml miniature once on a 5 Hr flight to HI). If you want to ask, I will disclose the carrier, but the carriers seem to leave discretion to the FA's serving the fluids. Good luck if an FA can't judge if a pax is getting drunk, but that is a judgment that is theirs.
I think you can bring all the caviar you want, as long as you don't make a scene about it and don't disrupt the service by the FA's to the rest of the PAX. As for EtOh, I dunno. I'm from Hawaii and like Mai Tai's as a local preference, Can't get it on most mainland carriers, except for HA. So, I bring my own my own MaiTai mix, and add it to Bacardi, after served by my FA. Seems to not offend anybody, nor does it offend the regulators, since I was served by the airline, just with added non-EtOh.
Comments welcome.

The champs would be a non-issue with this though, if you could get a FA to open it and serve you from the galley then no one would be able tell it was any different from the normal stuff.

You can certainly take food onboard, whether it's a Big Mac or caviar. Make a scene! Ask for some champagne or vodka to go with your caviar!! Let the other passengers be a little jealous!!!
