Basic economy fare with OW status, on a BA codeshare flight
Hi,
I'm looking at flights across the Atlantic, and I know if I book an AA flight in basic economy with my OW sapphire, I'll get the free checked bag and free seat selection. That works fine for me rather than booking an economy fare. However, what if I book a BA flight through AA.com? Would I get the same benefits - i.e. the checked bag and the seat selection? I know that BA don't offer a free checked bag on basic economy fares, regardless of the OW status. Any thoughts or clarifications would be massively appreciated
