Premium Economy seat on 77W vs A330. Verdict: more personal space and better IFE system on the 77W

I'll be flying Premium Economy from MCO to BKK via DFW and HKG. Is there any way that I will be able to choose an MCE seat on the domestic portion MCO/DFW and also on the HKG/BKK portion with CP as a part of my PE ticket? Or would these be extra charges? Can one just pay the difference for the MCE seating, as an add on to my PE ticket, and can it be done on line?

No 788's scheduled for PAE currently, although there are 3 or so that are doing a lot of domestic runs amongst DFW/LAS/SFO/ORD.
Still holding at just the one tail that has been through the PE retrofit, N800AN, which is mostly on the ORD-LHR route.

Readers Digest version from the 788 J seat thread:
- Currently 1 of 20 788's have been modified (N800AN) (5% chance you get it, scheduled between ORD and LHR for next few days.)
- No 788's currently scheduled for PAE (via publicly available schedule for the next few days)
- N811AB returned from SAT, but has not been refit (seat map still shows 28J)
In short, SAT is apparently not doubling as a refit location, and there are simply maintenance/other things going on at SAT for the 788's.

I saw i got bumped from the exit row (usually sit in 19c) from my flight tomorrow (ORD-LHR), 19C is now in front of the toilets. I've moved myself into row 6 because it looks like i'm on the retrofit flight with PE. It was murder trying to get a decent answer out of the AA reps, they didn't see any sort of equipment change so were clueless as to what my issue was.
Also legroom in row 6!

Now you know! And hey, PE (hard product) in lieu of MCE? Sounds like a win for you this round. Have a good flight!
