$668 fc jfk-las-jfk (why so low?)

Once a year I get a free "annual trip" from Caesars Casinos (I'm allowed $1200), I use my trip to coincide with the CES show in January in Las Vegas.
My trip is (way out) in Jan. 2019. I first searched my itn on Google Flights, it priced at $899. I was just ticketed and the price is $688. I contacted my slot host and he was sure Caesars Travel Service does NOT get any special discount.
Was this a "fluke" price--I travel to LAS often, $688 FC is a "nice" price.
PS: The flight number in BOTH directions is #1263 [isn't even # east bound, odd westbound?]

It’s farther out, so the lower fare buckets were still available. And same flight numbers both ways on several routes began after the merger.

LAS fares vary a great deal by the day of week you are going to be there- with Thur or Fri to Sun being most expensive. I've paid as little as $640 RT and as much as $1400/ RT for F. $688 is a really good deal IMO- Enjoy!

Is there any way to get a higher fare (up to $1200) to get more EQD?

But when I priced these it was $899. A day later, when I was ticketed (through Caesars Travel) the fare was $688. Yes, prices fluctuate, but $211 in one day.(???)
The CES show in LAS is their biggest trade show 150,000+ attendees--even though months in the future, hotel, airfares are normally priced on the high end.
As I noted in my OP #1 , even if the price were $1200, it would be FREE for me.

Of course, there is a difference between "free" and "casino free"
Oddly enough, I win more on "casino free" cruises, than anywhere else.

Just out of curiousity how much do you have to lose to get Caesars to provide you with $1200 in travel credits?

This being FlyerTalk, there is, of course, a thread on that. Not enough flight numbers to go around (since flight numbers are limited to four digits) after the merger, so this is a low-impact way to conserve flight numbers.

It's not how much you lose it is how much action... That is, average bet times the number of hours played, for table games

Let’s just leave it at saying that $1200 in credit (plus comped rooms, etc) aren’t exactly “free.”

If you think airline status and EQD is a [female dog], try casino status.

But it's a lot more fun! But in the end neither are really all that valuable
