First flight since March 10th and it feels good to be back in the air. This is flight 2338 this morning from LAX to DFW. It's a 789 and I have seat 1A. I'm connecting there to AA1258 (DFW to ORD) which is a 788 and again I have seat 1A. Decided to do it this way rather than non-stop from LAX to ORD so I could have wide bodies the entire way. On my way to see the "Monet and Chicago" exhibit at the Art Institute!

Forgot to post this photo from my Chicago trip earlier this month. This is Las Vegas from 30,000 ft. and 10X magnification. I was in 1L on flight 1172 from ORD to LAX on Nov. 9th. The aircraft was a 772 with Super Diamond Configuration in the front cabin.

And don't you usually pick 1A?

You're quite right. I almost always pick 1A but realized I would have to be on the starboard side of the plane if I wanted to get a picture of the Strip. Therefore, I changed my seat assignment from 1A to 1L the night before the flight.

A very stormy morning across Florida with a gray and rainy morning arrival into MIA:
The same morning about three hours later after departure on a 772, showers and storms had mostly moved offshore by that point. Everglades looking very wet after all the rain:
