ORD-CLE Ground & Air

About as close as you can get to a JAL 777 without being on the ground

On the takeoff ORD-CLE

thanks!!!

still trying to figure out cool inflight angles and I think I found a good one. I think the natural and man-made mood lighting on both sides of the wall added to it! I really love the colors!

Oh how I wish I was about to travel on a 777 right now. Always get that ready to travel to South America vibe at MIA. Seeing that’s where I am based I guess that makes it worse lol.

Okay those may not be quite relevant. But last night's AA1825 PHX-JFK was the emptiest flight I've ever taken in my life. 8 pax in first class, 6 pax in main cabin. After takeoff, I actually moved from first class to "hobo first class" so I could lie-flat.. even gate agent said she had never seen flights empty like this and it's kinda scary for her..

Wow, the Oasis 737 might actually be tolerable in this scenario…

Took my first flights in 14 months yesterday intending to go on a little joyride LAX-DFW-PHX-LAX. Weather in DFW caused our 789 to divert to OKC for refueling after circling in a holding pattern for an hour. We were one of two 787s sitting on the tarmac at OKC. Continued on to DFW afterwards and landed fine.

Would have made my DFW-PHX flight only to misconnect in PHX, so had them rebook me on the direct 789 flight back to LAX. You do get some pretty light flying westbound at the right time of day:
