AAdvantage Aviator Silver and Red Cards from BarclayCard
There are five AAdvantage-linked Aviator-branded cards by Barclaycard. Two of them can be applied for directly, the other three are upgrades or downgrades after receiving a Red card. The Many Flavors of Barclaycard AAdvantage Aviator
Where can I see information on all available Barclays Barclaycard AAdvantage cards?
Aviator Red (On AA.com)
Aviator Silver (On AA.com)
Aviator Business (On AA.com)
Red cardholders may receive an offer to upgrade to Aviator Silver after a period of time that varies, usually 3-11 months. The offer appears in the online "Offers" section, if it is declined there may be no simple way to receive the upgrade. Be careful with your clicking! Silver benefits begin at the start of the next statement, but the increased annual fee won't hit until the next card-member year starts.

+1. I forget the 2020 cut-off annual renewal date for this but I know my wife and I expect one last 10K for Feb renewals. That was a great deal...

Went through this. You have to put a case in with Barclays as it is billed by Panasonic (but says AA). In my case, the case was taking forever and am agent just credited me. ACS knows about this issue and Barclays was suppose to adjust their system to pick up on Panasonic. This was in early November so maybe u are pre them
knowing there was an issue

I keep getting the runaround from Barclays about the WiFi credit. My charge was from 31Oct and it has not yet been credited. I have called three times and I get a different answer every time. Today they said that Panasonic-AA WiFi charges are ineligible and I should read the T&Cs. I just checked the T&Cs and there is nothing that would indicate this. Has anyone else ever heard such nonsense?

Fingers crossed they have their procedures sorted out now and it won't take as long for my case to be sorted out.

I met my EQD spend threshold on Dec 3. The fifth is my statement closing date, so effectively two statements have closed since I crossed that threshold. I still haven't seen it posted on my account. Any idea if/when I should escalate this? Would not want a lapse in EP/OWE benefits if it takes more than a few weeks to sort out.
Thanks

I am in a similar situation, so you are not alone. I met my EQD spending threshold for the $3k EQD on Dec. 2, before my monthly closing date, yet the EDQ have not been applied to 2019. The 3k EQD are critical, as my last year EQD totals (without them) are $12,011! Has anyone else who met the 50K spending threshold in early Dec seen their EQDs post to their AA accounts?

Anyone remember hearing about a minimum spend or usage threshold for the Silver "invite?" I've got an old (2014) USAir that has been sock drawered for a hot minute that I'm trying to convert, but it isn't targeted for upgrade... CSRs clueless as usual and I don't really want to have to apply for a new one and convert that way. TIA

This is what I have expected, as it was around the 10th last year that most people saw the credit hit their accounts. ^
