Pillows in domestic 2 class First (consolidated)

I am sitting aboard a Boeing 757 in F, and was quite pleased to find pillows offered on my seat along with the red blankets upon boarding. The pillows are white, though smaller than what would be offered on the transcons or in international J (think: old coach pillows). I hope this is not a one-off deal. I am very excited about these returning, and my neck and back would be, too.

where were you flying? I am shocked to hear this - they never should have been removed in the first place.

I certainly haven't seen them on domestic narrowbody F (at least as of the two flights I took today) - maybe the 757 was originally scheduled for international? (Just usual packaged, very used mangy-appearing red cloths.)

I had the smaller pillows on a 763 DFW-MIA flight two weeks ago as well. Nice!

On all the domestic 763s, blankets make a mysterious appearance in Y and pillows make a mysterious appearance in F.

I flew LAX-RDU-LAX this weekend on 738. They also happened to both be painted in the new livery

In F on the outbound, we had the full sealed package (duvet + pillow).
In Y on the return, there were the little red blankets on each seat!

Haven't transcons in F received pillows for a while now?

I have seen them on MIA-LAX/SFO recently on 757s (maybe have always been there) and LAX-LIH. Interesting it was mia-dfw for the op, haven't seen them on that flight. Unless it is a 763 and 'flat' beds, i have no use for the pillow anyway.

There were pillows and blankets in the first class on 738 three weeks ago. It was a red-eye LAX-BOS flight.

nothing consistent. I've observed on the first flights out to ORD sometime F had blankets, no pillows, sometimes both and most likely nothing. There are many cost/time issues in putting them back on aircraft that make 4 or 5 turns a day. I never expect to see it. I'm not sure how clean they are when I do.
