what about the ORD-HNL flight, I think that one pushes 10 hours and no meal in coach.
What if we had a JFK-GUM flight (I think this would be 16 hours)? Could AA get away with no meal service since it's technically a "domestic flight"?

shortest international/non-domestic flight

IIRC, AA's shortest international flights are between MVD and EZE.

I think its ORD to MKE...only 67 miles. About 11 minutes in the air.

Interesting bump of an 8+ year-old thread.

ETA: beaten like an old rug.

Nope, ORD-MKE beats it by 1 mile. As discussed in at least one thread that's not nearly a decade old.

Welcome to FlyerTalk, emoswerd!

Your post has been moved to this more recent thread on the topic. As a gentle reminder, the FlyerTalk Terms of Service (http://www.flyertalk.com/help/rules.php#q77) requests that members:

Avoid Bumping Very Old Threads
Unless there is a compelling reason, avoid bumping threads that are more than two years old. Often the information is out-dated and it clogs the forums, making it difficult to find current threads.
Thanks for your cooperation!

Not scheduled but I once did DCA to IAD in American Eagle. 23 miles, I think.

I suspect it will forever be on my Flight Memory as my shortest flight.

Hardly exciting. A proper FT routing would have been DCA to IAD via SEA or similar.
