What makes you think the dust will settle?

The dust will settle when oil comes down to $6 a barrel.

Lets hope and prey they do not follow suit. I think AA really values their FF customers. I for one only fly on AA so I am prepared to pay a bit more to fly on AA. I will typically fly on AA or not take the trip. Last year I took my first flight in the US in 8 years without AA because I had already requalified and AA did not fly to the city.

With AADER promotion, it is hard to imagine that after AA gave an incentive to qualify elite levels faster and then take away the bonus miles.

I know for sure that all of my family members try hard and fly AA to re-qualify PLT every year just because of 100% bonus miles.

Even if it happens, I won't be surprised and will just take it as it is unfortunately.
