If I am an AC member, but also an EXP flying international, will I get coupons?

Thanks.

yes, you should get 2, sometimes the "dragons" will give 1, but if you ask, they should give you 2 at the very least, more if it's the JFK, DFW AC

As an EXP you have access to Flagship Lounges at ORD and LAX when flying on a "true" international itn, where it's a self-serve bar....

AA does not consider the following as international - Canada, Mexico (except Mexico City), Bahamas, Bermuda and the Carribean.

Yes they are... doesn't mean I can't check still.

Thanks Blumie,

2 Campari + Tonics helped take the edge of the LAX-IAD red-eye very nicely. Funny thing is, when I got to the menu, the chits were almost sticking out of the right side but nobody else seemed to have noticed.

The bigger question is how did you manage not to use them?
Most certainly and with pleasure (when I have unused ones)

Last week was travelling to LRH from JFK - got my chits (grudgingly got a second when requested after giving me only one first from the desk at term 8 AC - I am a PLAT, an AC member, and on this trip was travelling internationally) but because it was am did not want drinks and could not find anyone to sell me bottles of water I left the unused chits in the ladies washroom - I like this idea much better - fun way to pass the time.

will do this next time - great idea - thanks for sharing it

In the morning, the chits used to be good for a bottle of water or two to take on the plane. Now, not so much. They are dated and location stamped so you can't save them or take them to the club in the next city, why not leave them for the next FTer of the day. Great idea Blumie. Perhaps we ought to designate "behind the menu" as a standard location.

Michael

BTW, I believe that Blumie got his chits because he's not an AC member but a QP (Qantas Pub, I mean Club) member.

Bingo. If I had been flying internationally, they would have given me a pass to the FL -- unlimited free drinks -- instead of the chits.

This is much better than looking for hidden porn behind hotel dresser drawers. Clever hiding spot also. ^ ^

I forgot to mention the obvious in my earlier reply....

If you are traveling on what AA considers international itn, do not use your AC membership card. Just show the AC agents your BP or your EXP card. If you show them your AC membership card, then that's all they will check, "are you a current member?" and that does not get you free drink coupons.

Shouldn't this be a sticky not specific to LAX?

Also, noticed today that my ORD AC drink chits weren't stamped ORD. Did they goof or is that something new?

If things are down, it must not be good porn... (I can't believe I said that here...oh wait, yes I can, now)

Cheers.

I'll be at LAX AC tonight around 10:30 p.m. -

Would love the chance to play the new treasure hunt game if anyone is so inclined.....

Thanks and safe travels all...
