Will probably get EXP in late Nov....

I shudder to think the amount of flying most of the FTers do as I've never travelled so much as I have this year and I can't imagine doing it annually!

I'll have one mere year of EXP but I'll enjoy it! (I hope!)

Should finally be back to EXP by end of November. It's been long time coming. Was EXP last 4 years ago, been PLT since then. cant wait to cross. and keep it there moving forward.

I'm happy to be EXP-I have OTP-LHR-DFW 9/5, 4 segments week of 9/6, 2 segments week of 9/13, week of 9/20 DFW-OKC-DFW and DFW-LHR-MUC, week of 9/27 MUC-LHR-DFW & DFW-TUL-DFW.

October looks to be Chinese Fire drill with a minimum 20 segments

(Sarcasm on) Will I or can I get 8 more E-vip's for going EXP on EQPs and/or EQMs? Or is that a rant or question for another thread? (Sarcasm off)

Did a 2 day MR (DFW-STL-ORD-LAX-HNL-LAX-ORD-STL-DFW). Very happy to get this requalify over woth already. Will pass the EXP 100K goal once my STL promo goes through. Hopefully they will offer reward again for passing 125K EQMs this year.

I'm @ 30,460 EQM's for the year. after my London and PIT-SEA runs, I'll be at 48,860 EQM's. PLT will be quite easy to seal up. EXP will take some careful planning around my days off from work.

Might just be a little short of PLT

YTD Elite Qualifying Points 25,767
YTD Elite Qualifying Miles 27,272
YTD Elite Qualifying Segments 14

I have plenty of trips planned in the Fall and Winter, but mostly short hauls to NYC/BOS so by my calculation looks like I might be a few thousand short of PLT by Dec 31.

I might consider doing a couple of STL/RDU/PIT runs to gain the extra EQM's...we'll see...

I have some long South America business trips in September/October so I will barely make EXP on points this year by shifting several later flights from CO to AA. Result will be EXP for AA but no status at all for United/CO. Next year virtually all my flying will be AA so not a big deal to lose Star Alliance status and potentially have to pay baggage charges and no exit rows (assuming CO status gets United exit rows some day.) That's the price I will pay to get VIP upgrades and EXP status for regular upgrades. Looks like my additional cost to accomplish this will be about $650 which seems worth it compared to having AA Plt (lifetime) and SA Silver

Sure was hoping AA would do the double elite miles again this year like last year!

I've got a PIT-PVG round trip booked (PIT double EQM promotion) as well as one JFK-LAX, so between the two, I should be able to reach EXP again this year. Whew!

Already have another 30K miles booked. Maybe do a MR to FRA to cross the line. Did just blow 385K miles on a pan-asian adventure for next year though. Either that or I drop one domestic and pick up a TPAC.

Requalified for EXP on 9/10 with a marathon SJC-LAX-LIH-LAX-JFK-YUL-DFW-RNO trip.

YTD Elite Qualifying Points 78,578
YTD Elite Qualifying Miles 92,885
YTD Elite Qualifying Segments 67

2,500 miles on 3 segments coming up this week, nothing planned at the moment to push me over the top
