The first refurbished Domestic 752 (24 F seats) entered service on 10/18/09. Around half of the domestic 757 fleet had undergone the Cabin Improvement Project as of late 2012 (some older config still active 03/2014).

Any updates on the 757 refurbishments? How many are complete now?
I'm flying on a 757 August 29, DFW-ANC. As of now, it's the old config with 22 F seats, but hoping for the retrofit version.

My flight in December from Jfk to Mia shows 4 rows in first, so 16 seats. Can this be the international version of 757? Or something else? And which row to select when travelling with family of four?

The refurbishment program is pretty much on hold now. They are now aggressively retiring the 757 ( other then the internationally configured ones). The are being replaced with the 321's coming online. AA will be down to less then 80 of them by the end of the year.

This morning, my DFW-ANC flight is showing the refurbished version with 24 F seats. Hope it doesn't get swapped back to the 22F version; some F passengers will not be happy.
