Looks like NH107/108 has been updated to get the new configuration on some days. I ended up changing to NH8 thanks to the equipment change (was booked on NH108 on a Monday, which had the new config) but wanted to extend my trip by one day and ANA let me change for free 
. The new config was NOT available on NH108 on that Tuesday.

Hmm, I just plugged in a random week in April:
April 7 to 9 (Sunday to Tuesday) looks like its on the older craft
April 10 to 13 (Wed to Sat) is on the New plane with the Suite
And then on April 14 back to old
April 15 New
April 16 Old
No real rhyme or reason?

An OT data point should anyone be interested. I was booked on the redeye HND-JFK. I actually wasn't going to use it and was going to fly old JL F back.
NH had a very minor schedule change and NH let me rebook the day flight online! And I used virgin miles to boot.
Shocked the online system made that accommodation and very, VERY happy to enjoy some Hibiki 21 soon.
Also flying new JL F out. Going to be a fun comparison (have flown new NH F before and absolutely love it)

Went in to the record locator at ANA. I didn't know I even had a schedule change by just minutes. Shockingly, it asked if I wanted an alternate flight and let me choose and confirm it (only offered same city pairs which was fine). I then had to call VS to re-ticket. Five minutes later I was given a new ticket number.
I later confirmed with both ANA an VS phone reservations the new flight was confirmed.

Oh that's great to know. I also have a similar option but haven't decided what, if anything, to do about it. Kudos to NH for making schedule changes on partner-issued awards easy--they must be one of the only airlines to offer such self-service functionality for what is otherwise a very cumbersome process.
